How It Works

LuckyCal is simple to use. You tell LuckyCal where to find your existing calendars, friends, and interests (e.g., Google, Facebook, or Outlook), and LuckyCal takes it from there.

LuckyCal retrieves your calendars, friends, and interests information and uses it to generate LuckyCal Events which appear directly on your calendar. A LuckyCal Event could be a time when you can meet a friend, or when a band you are interested in is in town - the possibilities are endless!

LuckyCal keeps your information private. LuckyCal does not show any information from your calendar to anyone else. Instead it uses the information on your calendars, as well as your known locations (e.g home address, work address), to find times when you'll be near friends and interests. You have complete control over how near they have to be and which calendars are used for this matching.

Just so we're absolutely clear: LuckyCal NEVER gives out any information from your calendar. And in turn, you'll never see your friends' calendar information.

LuckyCal Events are more than appointments on your calendar. Because LuckyCal Events are linked to a friend or event and appear on your existing schedule, the information is immediately accessible and useable. Click on a LuckyCal Event and you can email the friend who'll be nearby to get together for lunch, or purchase tickets for tonight's game, all directly from your calendar.

With LuckyCal, there's no need to re-enter your information in multiple applications. LuckyCal does the work for you. As you update your calendar, friends, or interests, LuckyCal automatically revisits and regenerates new LuckyCal Events based on the new data you've provided.

With LuckyCal, your calendar doesn't just remind you what needs to get done; it's a dynamic, personalized tool to make it easier to do the things you want to do.
